How many grants will be awarded?
In any given year between one and five grants will be awarded based on need and the availability of funds.
What constitutes a valid need?
Loss of employment, military deployment, medical or health emergencies, problems paying rent, mortgage, utilities or other family emergencies.
What is the time-line for awarding the grants?
Applications will be accepted up until October 31 and Grants will be awarded in December.
May I reapply next year?
Yes.
May a spouse or widow apply?
Yes.
