Eligible Applicants:
Must be a veteran or current member of the U.S. Armed Forces or its Reserve or National Guard.
Must be a legal resident of Darien, New Canaan, Norwalk or Stamford, Connecticut.
Must have an honorable discharge from the miliary, or a current member of the military, or a spouse of either a current or honorably discharged veteran.
Is drug and alcohol free.
The hardship is primarily due to no fault of the applicant.
Documents Required to Support an Application May Include:
Proof of Honorable Military Service
For veterans, your Discharge Papers/DD-214.
For service members, a copy of the current military ID card.
For spouses, a copy of the marriage certificate.
Proof of Residency
Drivers License
For members stationed out-of-state, most recent miliary leave and earnings statement showing home of record.
Copy of Bills for Which Assistance is Requested
Must include account's name as well as creditor's name and address.
For assistance with repairs, two different written estimates on company letterhead are required.

Any additional documents supporting the request.
